On April 13, 1953, CIA Director Allen Dulles authorized Project MKUltra — a covert program to develop techniques for mind control, interrogation, and psychological manipulation using drugs, hypnosis, and torture.

WHY THIS MATTERS MKUltra is not ancient history. It is documented proof that the United States government conducted illegal medical experiments on its own citizens without their knowledge or consent — and then destroyed the evidence. The program's techniques of behavioral manipulation, pharmaceutical coercion, and institutional cover-up established patterns that persist in intelligence operations today.
